Actor Nick Stahl’s family filed a missing-person report Monday, but there were ongoing issues that predated the Terminator 3 star’s disappearance.

According to court papers, he was involved in a custody battle with wife Roseann, who reported Nick Stahl missing, over their 2-year-old daughter Marlo.

She filed in February requesting that Nick not be allowed unsupervised visits with their daughter. She also requested both legal and physical custody.

Nick and Roseann are still married, but estranged and living apart.

Roseann, 30, also stated that in 2011 she estimated the Terminator Salvation actor’s income to be $ 500,000 while she listed her own income as $ 0.

She said her total monthly expenses were $ 6,065. In March, she subsequently requested Nick pay $ 3,807 monthly in child support, and he agreed.

It’s unclear if Nick Stahl’s drug problems played a role in his disappearance, but they were bad enough to worry Roseann at the time he vanished.

He was granted only supervised visitation with their child, however, and was barred from consuming alcoholic beverages or narcotics within 24 hours.

He was also ordered to provide a negative drug test result for marijuana, cocaine and alcohol within 24 hours prior to every scheduled visitation.

“Thank you for the kind words,” Roseann tweeted, along with a plea for anyone with information about Nick’s whereabouts to contact the LAPD.

Then in 2010 the singer landed a judge’s chair on American Idol. The job gave her a platform to promote her music and turn her image around. She did.

She also split with husband, Marc Anthony, a move that, while said, gave J. Lo even more media attention and subsequent big-money endorsement deals.

With contracts for L’Oreal and Gillette, a line of clothing at Kohl’s, a fragrance, and a whopping $ 20 million Idol salary, she’s got it made here in 2012.

Her 6.6 million followers on Twitter and 12 million fans on Facebook are a testament to her social popularity, as well, cementing her #1 Forbes ranking.

Lopez unseats Lady Gaga, who topped the list last year.

The pop star slides to fifth place this year with $ 52 million in earnings, down from $ 90 million last year (the Gaga didn’t tour much in the last 12 months).

In second place is Oprah Winfrey, whom Gaga unseated for No. 1 last year. Winfrey had a rough 12 months, too. Oprah’s down years are #2 overall.

Ranking third on our list is Justin Bieber, with $ 55 million in the past year thanks to touring and record sales. Rihanna came in at #4 in the rankings.

Taylor Armstrong is continuing to fall apart before our very eyes. Or before Bravo cameras, really, as producers’ plans luck may have it.

Following reports of Armstrong getting blitzed at a recent kids’ birthday party, sources now tell Radar Online that Armstrong suffered a “catastrophic meltdown” during a spa trip over the weekend.

“Taylor was wasted from the moment she appeared in the morning until the moment she collapsed at night,” claims this Real Housewives of Beverly Hills source. “It was a horrific sight to see. She totally lost control of her emotions and her temper. She is an absolute complete mess, but she refuses to acknowledge that she has a problem.”

Well, sure. That’s because the script hasn’t called for it yet.

The incident took place at Ojai Valley Inn, with witnesses claiming Armstrong was “all over the place” while shooting scenes with cast members. These same friends have allegedly been pushing for Taylor to enter rehab. Expect the crux of her season three storyline to be this supposed substance abuse problem.

You won’t believe this, but the relationship between 52-year old Linda Hogan and her 23-year old fiance is over.

The ex-wife of wrestler Hulk Hogan announced she was engaged to Charley Hill in July 2010. But nearly two years later, she has posted on her Facebook page:

“Ok… My status has changed. I am now single. After the great therapy we had together and time to think and concentrate on who we are and who we want to be, Charley and I decided that we should each travel through life in different directions.”

Hogan then sent a special message to her fans, raising the question: Linda Hogan has fans?!?

“But, thank you all for always being so supportive of our relationship and choices. I hope that you all understand and are not be too terribly disappointed. Love you!” she wrote.

Linda divorced Hulk one year prior to agreeing to marry Hill, and later accused the former WWE grappler of abuse.

It’s the beginning of the end for Teen Mom’s fabulous foursome – Maci Bookout, Farrah Abraham, Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell – on MTV this summer.

Though the Teen Mom franchise is sticking around on the network with its second (and soon-to-be third) ensembles, the four who started it all are bowing out.

Earlier this week, Torii Hunter took a leave of absence from the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, citing “a personal matter” for his departure from the team.

And now we appear to know why.

As first reported by The Dallas Morning News and a local NBC affiliate, five students at Prosper High School in Texas were arrested yesterday in conjunction with the sexual assault of a student – and one of them has been identified as Darius McClinton-Hunter, the MLB veteran’s son.

McClinton-Hunter, 17, has been released from jail on $ 15,000 bail.

“This is very tough for a father,” Hunter Tweeted last night. “Thanks for ur prayers and support. Be Blessed everyone!”

A Divison I football prospect, the younger Hunter has received scholarship offers from Utah, West Virginia, Wake Forest and Texas Tech.

Not much is known about the incident in question, but Prosper, Texas Assistant Police Chief Gary McHone said of the basis for the arrests:

“There’s a lot of information we’re receiving to date in terms of the actual alleged offenses. That’s still part of our ongoing investigation.”

With the competition down to the final two weeks, tension was running high on Dancing with the Stars, and seemed to overwhelm one top contestant.

A seemingly minor misstep at the end of a solid routine left Katherine Jenkins in tears, and not just fighting them back. We’re talking meltdown here.

Their salsa – their second routine of the night – saw Katherine stumble, a mistake that barely troubled the judges, but left her bawling on stage:

“That was just fantastic,” said Carrie Ann Inaba, who awarded a nine. “I’m sorry at the end. But I just love seeing you push your boundaries.”

The other judges also gave her nines, but with the finals a week away, the miscue left Jenkins in tears. “I’m sorry, Mark,” she told her partner.

Disappointment, pain, overall nerves … it’s unclear what caused the crying from Katherine, who also scored a 29 in her first dance, a quickstep.

Afterward, she was heard saying, “I don’t know what happened.” She later Tweeted: “I’m with the Doctor, he says it was a reflectorical spasm in my lower back.”

In any event, she’s still in this thing, as no more than three points separate all the contestants on a night that saw near perfection in the scoring.

“This is going to be the best semi-finals ever,” proclaimed Len Goodman.

Maria Menounos and Derek Hough could not have done a better tango, getting yet another perfect 30. Later they got a 29 for their jive, as well.

William Levy & Cheryl Burke – Samba (Dancing With the Stars)

William Levy and Cheryl Burke matched that 30 for a red-hot samba, leaving Len at a loss for words. Their earlier tango collected 29 points.

Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd soared, getting 10s from Tonioli and Inaba and a nine from Len for the samba. Their earlier tango earned 28.

Nor is anyone else … save for the guy who fathered the little girl she was recently arrested for taking into a tanning booth and burning. Anyway.

A source says “It wouldn’t even be considered” at Playboy, despite TM angling to cash in on her 15 minutes, because she’s just not Playboy material.

Playboy even went on record, saying, “It would definitely never happen.”

Britney Spears and Demi Lovato will join L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell as judges on The X Factor, Fox confirmed at its upfront presentation this afternoon.

Spears, one of the most successful and celebrated artists in pop music history, gives the show A-list star power as it gears up for its sophomore season.

Lovato is no slouch herself, having become an accomplished singer and actress with a devoted and engaged young fan base. Not bad for the age of 19.

“I’m absolutely delighted that Britney and Demi are joining us,” said Cowell, who removed Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger at the end of last season.

“Britney Spears remains one of the biggest stars in the world, she’s talented, fascinating – and I believe she knows exactly how to spot The X Factor.”

“Demi’s had an amazing career in music, TV and film for someone her age. She’s young, confident, and enthusiastic,” he added of his other panelist.

“It’s important that she speaks to our younger audience. The new panel will be dynamic and will work really well with the changes to the show.”

Spears joining The X Factor has basically been a done deal for weeks now, added,  “I couldn’t be more excited to join The X Factor judging panel.”

“I’m a huge fan of the show and now I get to be a part of the action. Simon and L.A. better watch out!” 

Lovato, who reportedly beat out Miley Cyrus for the final spot, said: “I’m so thrilled to join this legendary group of judges on The X Factor.”

“To be able to spend each week with Simon, L.A. and Britney watching the best that America has to offer is truly a dream come true.”

Kim Kardashian may be donning a short-haired wig for a new photo shoot with Vogue Italia, but the professional celebrity is giving fans a long look at her relationship with Kanye West:

The two were photographed swapping spit in Los Angeles yesterday, as Us Weekly has posted the picture of Kim and Kanye kissing on set.

Adding to the intrigue of a relationship that is totally not for publicity, Kanye recently rapped something about wanting to see Kardashian in a white dress, while rumors of these two getting married continue to circulate.

Granted, Kim isn’t divorced yet from Kris Humphries. And, sure, a wedding is about as likely to go down as Kim is on a white guy.

But it sure is totally nauseating and ridiculous fun to wonder about, isn’t it?!?
