Chris Brown will perform at the Grammy Awards next month, E! reports. It will be his first appearance at the annual show since 2009, when … you know.

The singer, whose career has rebounded nicely despite some memorable flare-ups, is up for three awards this year, so his appearance isn’t too surprising.

Plans for his performance are still being worked out, so details are lacking at the moment. Meanwhile, his ex Rihanna will perform with Coldplay.

Chris Brown and Rihanna have been the subject of great speculation lately, most recently after they partied together (but separately) in W. Hollywood.

The two are said to be on good terms now, and even hooking up … but they kept their distance last week. Brown was there with GF Karrueche Tran.

The Grammy Awards will be hosted by NCIS: LA star LL Cool J and telecast live on CBS from Los Angeles’ Staples Center on Sunday, February 12.

Also set to perform are Jason Aldean, Kelly Clarkson, Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars, Paul McCartney, the Band Perry, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift and more.

Baylie Brown enjoyed a triumphant return to American Idol last night.

Five years after her initial appearance on the show – during which she advanced to Hollywood, was paired with uncooperative teammates ere and then forgot the lyrics on stage – this 21-year old Texan showed off a new hair color and a great voice yesterday as one of the 54 Golden Ticket recipients (along with Kristine Osorio and Ramiro Garcia) to make it out of The Lone Star State.

Nearly three years after the infamous assault that ended their relationship and nearly put him in jail, the two are working toward getting back together, according one of the most prolific and unreliable celebrity news sources around! That’s crazy!

Chris Brown and Rihanna’s Tweets this week got people talking, and MediaTakeOut (dot) com has apparently “been hearing reports for some time” that Rihanna and Brown are working on “RECONCILIATION” (their word, and unnecessary capitals).

SO is it happening or not?

According to the celebrity gossip site, a person close to Chris Brown says he’d like nothing more than to get back with her. But since the “incident” Chris felt that he’d destroyed any and all chances of a relationship with his “soul mate.”

So he stayed away from her, by law, at her request.

But now things have changed. Rihanna and Chris are speaking to each other on the phone, exchanging IMs and text messages to boot. Insanity!

She’s in Barbados right now (check out these bikini photos!) but they reportedly plan to meet up when Rihanna returns to Los Angeles next week.

Chris is said to be ecstatic, but Jay Z and Rihanna’s managers are reportedly furious that they’re back on speaking terms and may reconcile?

In her new memoir, Kris Jenner dedicates a chapter to the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson, writing that O.J’s victim ex-wife actually called Kris the day she died because she wanted to show her friend a box of items that allegedly proved the football great had been abusing her for years.

But Denise Brown, Nicole’s sister, has now spoken out and says Jenner is nothing but a pitiful liar.

“Kris Jenner is pathetic,” Denise tells The National Enquirer, denying Jenner’s claim that she called Kris the day after Nicole died and asked about this box of evidence.

“I had just found out my sister was murdered,” said Brown. “The last thing on my mind was whether or not Nicole showed anyone any pictures she had in a safety deposit box… In fact, I didn’t even know my sister HAD a safety deposit box with pictures of her abuse until the beginning of O.J.’s trial – months after she was murdered.”

Denise says she’s “disappointed” that Kris is exploiting her sister’s passing, concluding with a message to this sad, money-starved reality star:

“For the past two-and-a-half years, my family has had some relative peace regarding all of this stuff… Please, Kris, don’t profit off of my sister’s horrible death.”

Sister Wives star Kody Brown and fourth wife Robyn welcomed their first child together – and his polygamist family’s 17th overall – to the family on Wednesday.

Solomon Brown was born at 2:02 a.m. on Wednesday in the family’s home in Las Vegas, Nevada, and he weighed in 9 lbs., 10.5 oz., with a length of 22 inches.

He and Robyn are both resting comfortably.

Congrats to Kody Brown and the whole family! Robyn’s the one in the middle!

Proud papa Kody said, “He’s perfect and we couldn’t be happier.”

His controversial family is documented on TLC’s Sister Wives, on which Meri, Janelle and Christine welcomed Robyn to the extended family last year.

The family recently left Utah and are struggling with the vast array of changes in their lives, separated in four houses in more-accepting Nevada.

Robyn’s pregnancy was the focal point of the third season premiere of the reality show. We anxiously await Solomon’s debut on a future episode.

The 18th and final contestant on the upcoming season of ABC’s Bachelor Pad has been revealed: It’s this week’s Bachelorette castoff, Ames Brown!

We know. Didn’t see that coming.

ABC withheld the identity of the last contestant, only revealing that it was a male who appeared on the current season of The Bachelorette.

Conventional wisdom suggested the villainous Bentley Williams would be a good fit, as would … any of the guys remaining besides Ames.

The portfolio manager is a terrific guy, don’t get us wrong. In fact, that’s why it seems like an odd fit with the likes of Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi.

You just fear that he’ll be eaten alive by these people … on the flip side, he should easily be able to outwit them. But does he even need $ 250,000?

In any case, Ames joins fellow Bachelorette contestants William Holman and Blake Julian from this season. The show premieres Monday, August 8.

The week before that is The Bachelorette finale, with Ben, JP and Constantine still in the running. With Ames gone, who should Ashley choose?

Last night at the BET Awards, some lucky fans were chosen to present the viewer’s choice award. Some serious awkwardness transpired.

Not only did the wrong person get it, the celebrities involved happened to be Chris Brown and Rihanna, with Drake thrown in no less.

Brown owned the BET Awards, taking home four big honors, one of which being the viewer’s choice award. But it wasn’t given to him initially …

The lucky fan read the winner as “Chris Brown,” only to recant it and say, “I’m sorry, the winner is Rihanna.” The audience grumbled.

THEN, despite the fact that Rihanna’s name appeared on screen one of the presenters chimed in again to award the honor to … Drake.

Drake then appeared on stage to collect his trophy, giving a short speech and describing the whole thing as awkward. To say the least.

Presumably, at some point later, Brown was credited with the actual award … but not before the entire process was thoroughly discredited.
