The story is well known by now: Bobby Brown left Whitney Houston’s funeral after just 20 minutes because he tangled with security, and his former in-laws, over seating arrangement.

But where did he go from there? To Mohegan Sun, a casino in Connecticut, where Brown performed a set with New Edition.

“I wanna give blessings to my ex-wife Whitney Houston. I love you,” Brown said at one point during the concert, pointing toward the sky. “I want to give blessings to my kids, my brothers and all of you. Thank you for the love.”

Following a show that included past hits such as “Tenderoni” and “My Prerogative,” sources tell People Brown dined with friends.

Bobby Flay’s restaurant, Bar Americain. He didn’t drink, posed a bit with fans and later gambled for about 20 minutes at $ 500 blackjack tables.

“He wasn’t really partying, but he was having a good time with his old crew from Boston,” says a witness. “He had a lot of support and bodyguards stuck close to him to keep fans from being too intrusive.”

After a late-night snack, this onlooker says Brown then retired for the night around 2 a.m.

Rumors have been flying that Chris Brown and Rihanna are getting back together, however, dude is still dating Karrueche Tran, and it’s apparently going well.

Sources close to Karrueche say that she is not perturbed by the rumors about Rihanna, because she is currently dating – and living with (!) Chris Brown.

Guess she would know better than a bunch of tabloids …

Furthermore, after Brown made his not-so-secret appearance at Rihanna’s birthday party, he whisked Karrueche off to Miami for a romantic Valentine’s Day. Aww.

So all is well in paradise? Looks like it. Probably. Maybe.

A source tells Us Weekly that Karrueche knows that Chris Brown and Rihanna have hooked up (she thinks it happens at the studio), but is sanguine about it all.

She isn’t going to throw away her meal ticket break up with her boyfriend over a few minor indiscretions, after all … you gotta look at the big picture here.

So Us claims, anyway.

Karrueche Tran is an aspiring model, if anyone wondered/cared. One who does not care about his past, obviously. Miranda Lambert would not approve.

After days spent arguing with Whitney Houston’s family over whether or not he’d attend his ex-wife funeral, multiple sources confirm that Bobby Brown continued arguing with his former in-laws today.

And actually left the memorial after just 20 minutes as a result.

Both E! News and TMZ report that Brown brought an entourage of nine people in to the Newark church. It’s unclear exactly what happened from there, but the singer was spotted exiting the house of worship shortly after the service began.

“I am at Whitney’s funeral. I spoke with Bobby Brown trying to calm him down and not distract from the services. Today is about Whitney!” Al Sharpton Tweeted, while Access Hollywood‘s Shaun Robinson says a “seating arrangement” dispute was at play.

Brown also has a concert gig tonight in Connecticut with New Edition, but it’s believed this disagreement with Whitney’s family is the reason why he left the premises so quickly.

UPDATE: Brown has released the following statement:

“My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions. I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move. Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi-Kristina.

“In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. My children are completely distraught over the events. This was a day to honor Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how.”

Come on, Chris Brown.

The singer has, for reasons unknown, fired back at those who took aim at Grammy Awards producers for inviting him to perform at music’s big night on Sunday.

Brown did nothing at all controversial during the show, and has been a model citizen of late. It’s understandably frustrating that people won’t let him move on.

Outbursts like this make it impossible to, however, because they fuel the perception that he’s a temperamental hothead who shows no remorse or respect:

The R&B singer performed twice and picked up the Best R&B Album prize, but many industry executives, fans and stars felt he shouldn’t have been there at all.

The Grammy Awards were, of course the scene of his infamous attack on ex-girlfriend Rihanna, which landed him in court on assault charges three years ago.

Tuesday, he Tweeted: “Hate all u want becuz I got a Grammy now! That’s the ultimate [bleep] off! Watch my back as I walk away from all this negativity.”

Those remarks have since been deleted, but the negativity he seeks to walk away from has only been fostered by his own inability to calm the hell down.

Seriously. Just take a deep breath, pull yourself together and put the iPhone down. Think it through. Maybe then you’ll deserve to be called a role model.

With Bobbi Kristina Brown out of the hospital, but with family members still concerned over her well-being, Bobby Brown has released his first public statement regarding his 18-year old daughter with Whitney Houston.

“My daughter did visit with doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles,” said the singer, seen below touching down in Los Angeles to be there for his child.  “She has been released and is presently with my family, including her siblings.” 

Bobbi was actually under physician supervision twice this weekend, first on Saturday and then on Sunday, both times in panic over her mom’s passing.

“Obviously the death of her mother is affecting her,” says Brown. “However we will get through this tragedy as a family.”

Meanwhile, President Obama has also chimed in on the sad situation. Describing his boss as an “admirer” of Houston’s “immense talent,” White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said this afternoon:

“I know that his thoughts and prayers are with her family, especially her daughter. It’s a tragedy to lose somebody so talented at such a young age.”

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 18-year old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, has been rushed to the hospital.

TMZ broke the news, reporting that a stretcher carried Bobbi out of the Beverly Hills Hilton today, the same hotel where her mother passed away yesterday afternoon.

Insiders say authorities responded to a call there for a medical emergency around 10:30 a.m. local time and that Bobbi was “awake an alert at the time.” She is reportedly under care for anxiety.

Tragically, Bobbi was in the lobby of the hotel when an ambulance arrived yesterday, screaming “What’s wrong with her? What’s wrong with her?” in regard to her mother, according to People. She was later taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center “because she was having a complete breakdown,” says that magazine’s source.

This hospital visit, however, appears to have stemmed from a separate incident.

New reports indicate that Houston was prone to taking Xanax prior to shows or major public appearance. She may have overdosed on that drug yesterday and fallen asleep in the bathtub, drowning.

Chris Brown will perform at the Grammy Awards next month, E! reports. It will be his first appearance at the annual show since 2009, when … you know.

The singer, whose career has rebounded nicely despite some memorable flare-ups, is up for three awards this year, so his appearance isn’t too surprising.

Plans for his performance are still being worked out, so details are lacking at the moment. Meanwhile, his ex Rihanna will perform with Coldplay.

Chris Brown and Rihanna have been the subject of great speculation lately, most recently after they partied together (but separately) in W. Hollywood.

The two are said to be on good terms now, and even hooking up … but they kept their distance last week. Brown was there with GF Karrueche Tran.

The Grammy Awards will be hosted by NCIS: LA star LL Cool J and telecast live on CBS from Los Angeles’ Staples Center on Sunday, February 12.

Also set to perform are Jason Aldean, Kelly Clarkson, Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars, Paul McCartney, the Band Perry, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift and more.

Baylie Brown enjoyed a triumphant return to American Idol last night.

Five years after her initial appearance on the show – during which she advanced to Hollywood, was paired with uncooperative teammates ere and then forgot the lyrics on stage – this 21-year old Texan showed off a new hair color and a great voice yesterday as one of the 54 Golden Ticket recipients (along with Kristine Osorio and Ramiro Garcia) to make it out of The Lone Star State.

Will Rihanna and Chris Brown do the unthinkable?

Nearly three years after the infamous assault that ended their relationship and nearly put him in jail, the two are working toward getting back together, according one of the most prolific and unreliable celebrity news sources around! That’s crazy!

Chris Brown and Rihanna’s Tweets this week got people talking, and MediaTakeOut (dot) com has apparently “been hearing reports for some time” that Rihanna and Brown are working on “RECONCILIATION” (their word, and unnecessary capitals).

SO is it happening or not?

According to the celebrity gossip site, a person close to Chris Brown says he’d like nothing more than to get back with her. But since the “incident” Chris felt that he’d destroyed any and all chances of a relationship with his “soul mate.”

So he stayed away from her, by law, at her request.

But now things have changed. Rihanna and Chris are speaking to each other on the phone, exchanging IMs and text messages to boot. Insanity!

She’s in Barbados right now (check out these bikini photos!) but they reportedly plan to meet up when Rihanna returns to Los Angeles next week.

Chris is said to be ecstatic, but Jay Z and Rihanna’s managers are reportedly furious that they’re back on speaking terms and may reconcile?
