Miley Cyrus returned from an international tour recently, showed up for the MTV Video Music Awards last night… and walked right into a Fashion Face-Off!

The singer, who has often been mocked by a certain website for her risque outfits, actually went all fancy at the event, donning a ball gown that extended beyond her feet. It was quite the contrast to the fashion statement made by Selena Gomez.

This 19-year old, who received a kiss from Justin Bieber prior to the ceremony, didn’t leave much to the imagination. She rocked a short, sheer black dress. Did it outshine Miley’s outfit? Was in appropriate? Compare, contrast and vote now.

Have we mentioned lately how much we love Beyonce? Because we. Love. Beyonce. Mostly because she’s an amazing performer and a singularly talented businesswoman, but also because the chick can wear some clothes.

Miss Knowles is featured in a generous spread in the July issue of Dazed and Confused, wearing looks from Tom Ford, Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent, Haider Ackermann, Marc Jacobs and Gareth Pugh. The photos, set in what looks like a the aftermath of a rural tornado, is entitled Trailer Park Fantasy.
