Raffaello Follieri, who first came to celebrity gossip prominence by being served by Anne Hathaway on a yacht, has served his time in federal prison for fraud.

Hathaway’s infamous ex, who pleaded guilty to 14 counts of wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy in October 2008, will soon walk free. Just not here.

He will be released and immediately deported to his native Italy.

The former real estate developer’s schemes allegedly consisted of convincing rich investors to buy historic properties by falsifying ties to the Vatican, will be handed over to federal officials who will then put his ass on a boat.

Or a plane, more likely. A boat just sounds more degrading.

Raffaello Follieri‘s rep, who met with him at Pennsylvania’s Loretto federal prison this week, explained to the New York Post on Wednesday:

“It is my understanding from counsel, that he is indeed to be transferred into the custody of ICE for immediate processing and subsequent deportation back to Italy where he is expected to be released into the care of his family.”

“[He] expects to resume his role at the helm of the Follieri Group.”

That’s one Group that clearly values its business reputation.

Hathaway, who today is engaged to Adam Shulman, called things off with her Italian businessman beau right before he was indicted.

Amber Portwood has been released from jail. She got sprung yesterday.

The troubled Teen Mom star was placed back behind bars last week after violating the terms of her probation by failing to appear in an Indiana court.

The 22-year-old allegedly lied about a medical condition to get out of a drug test. Her probation officer called the bluff, asking her doctor directly.

Some very sleepy-eyed Amber Portwood mug shots soon followed.

How’s the reality star feeling now that she’s back on the other side?

“OK,” Amber told E! News. “Just hustling. I’ve got a lot on my plate.”

Naturally.

According to her brother, Shawn Portwood, Amber’s “new goal is to join the military.” Yes, apparently he’s serious. “She was going to work hard to get her charge reduced,” added Shawn. “She’s been doing so well.”

The Teen Mom trailer would suggest otherwise, but here’s hoping.

Tanning Mom Patricia Krentcil is being blackballed by the institutions she holds dearest, as local tanning salons are banning her from the premises.

Ever since Krentcil’s arrest for child endangerment – when she brought her little daughter into the booth, allegedly – she’s become persona non grata.

Planet Sun Tanning Salon, which runs eight locations around T-Mom’s home in Nutley, N.J., wants nothing to do with her in any way, shape or form.

They’ve already posted pictures of Patricia Krentcil behind all employee counters to help workers recognize her … or they could just read the news.

Sources say employees have been ordered to make Patricia, who was parodied on SNL last weekend (above), leave immediately if she ever shows up.

Several other nearby tanning salons, including Body Works Salon, Bodies in Heat, and Sunset Tans, have also instituted no-Tanning Mom policies.

The New Jersey Department of Health is getting involved in the case, teaming up with local officials to investigate the last tanning salon Patricia used.

That would be City Tropics Tanning, a delightful sounding place. No word if they could also face charges for Krentcil’s alleged actions that day.

It really is over.

Nearly three months after announcing their surprising separation, Heidi Klum has made it official and filed for divorce from Seal on Friday afternoon.

A petition, which lists irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, seeks joint legal custody and primary physical custody of their four kids.

In other words, she wishes to live primarily with Leni, 7½, Henry, 6½, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2, but with ample visitation and joint legal rights for Seal.

The model is also seeks to have her maiden name restored. She legally changed it to Seal’s, Samuel, though professionally she kept using Klum.

“While we enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching, we have decided to separate,” the couple said.

“We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart.”

For the couple who wed in Mexico in 2005, the split played out in headlines as the end of a fairy tale as both gradually stopped wearing wedding rings.

Although multiple sources claimed that the couple hoped to reconcile, by mid-February it was clear a reunion would not be in their future after all.

Seal was vocal about their split in the weeks following their announcement, and not for the purposes of trashing Heidi. Just … to talk about it.

“When you publicize your marriage as much as ours was publicized, when you renew your wedding vows, when you do all those things, what you are saying to people is … you’re giving people a picture of an ideal relationship,” he said.

“So when it goes south, you can’t all of a sudden take the philosophy of a monk and decide to go for a complete vow of silence.”

The quieter Heidi Klum, 38, acknowledged in the April issue of Elle that she couldn’t control what Seal, 49, said to the press, but “it’s hard.”

“People don’t need to know who did what,” she said. “I don’t want to talk positively or negatively about the ups and downs that we had.”

So stated Kim Kardashian this morning in a stunning turn of events, as the reality star admitted her marriage to Kris Humphries was a money-making scam; agreed to pay her ex a $ 20 million settlement and then dropped a final bombshell on fans: she will avoid all red carpets and publicity opportunities for a year.

“I’ve been living a lie for too long,” Kim said. “I bought Ray J that video camera. I read cue cards on E!. My manager calls the paparazzi any time I’m in a bikini. Heck, I can’t even get dressed in the morning without my mom telling me what to wear.”

Kardashian added that she and her sisters help tabloid editors come up with supposedly scandalous headlines, pushing sales of those magazine and then taking to their blogs to refute the rumors and garner sympathy from fans.

It’s a circular tactic that Kim says she learned from former best friend Paris Hilton, adding:

“Those tabloids made money, their employees kept their jobs, my family came out as the victim. My Facebook followers even believed I was actually confiding in them. Everybody was winning… or so I thought. Turns out, my soul had been lost a long time ago.”

Kim says she will donate all the money she’s earned from Tweeting product names to those who tried QuickTrim because they believed it was a healthy weight loss supplement.

“Come on,” she scoffed. “It’s not even FDA approved. I’m a multi-millionaire with no real job. I lost all this weight because I had the time to work out and the money to pay a personal trainer.”

It’s taken a very long time, but THG applauds Kim Kardashian for finally telling the truth about all the fallacies in her life. We’d also like to say…

A new beauty pageant scandal has broken out, but this one has nothing to do with naked photos or a contestant’s stance on gay marriage.

Jenna Talackova – a 23-year old who was born a man, but who underwent gender reassignment surgery at the age of 19 – has been disqualified from Miss Universe Canada because, according to a statement from the organization, she does not “meet the requirements to compete, despite having stated otherwise on her entry form.”

Producers added that they do respect Talackova’s “goals, determination and wish her the best.”

“I am very disappointed with the decision taken by the Miss Universe … organizers,” Talackova said in a statement released today. “However, I will look to turn this situation into a positive so that other people in a similar situation are not discriminated against in the future.”

Denis Davila, the director of the event, says there are rules in place that make it clear one must be born a woman in order to compete. Jenna, he says, indicated on her original registration that she was female, only to later explain her unusual situation.

Reactions to the decision have been mixed with over 20,000 signatures on a change.org petition to reverse the pageant ruling.

Jermaine Jones is reportedly getting kicked off American Idol.

The finalist was already in trouble for lying about the status of his relationship with his father, according to TMZ, when producers dug deeper into his past and uncovered a couple more untruths:

He has a criminal history. Jones has been arrested twice, providing a fake name to police on both occasions. One of the incidents also involved violence, sources confirm.

American Idol insiders say Jones will appear on tomorrow night’s performance show, but will then be given the axe. It’s unclear exactly how it will all go down.

The Bachelor’s Ben Flajnik adamantly denied – swore on his father’s grave, no less – that he kissed other girls during his brief time apart from Courtney Robertson.

These photos clearly show him kissing Alison McGlone and Hilaire Fouts, however.

Here’s the deal: Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson got engaged on the finale … but he dumped her after seeing what a psycho she was throughout the season.

They were apart for a period in February, when the pics (below) were taken. Yet he still swore up and down after The Bachelor finale that he didn’t stray. Why?

Ben kissed Hilaire Fouts (not pictured) after bar-hopping in San Francisco on February 17. Ben was seen kissing an unidentified woman (red pants) after the bars closed.

Doesn’t look like the way you kiss a “friend,” does it? Ben was later seen being escorted home by another woman (Fouts), who left the next morning in the same clothes.

The following night, Flajnik was seen on a romantic late night dog walk with another woman, Alison McGlone (above, center and right) whom he could be seen kissing.

Note that there is ass-grabbing going. Not “friend” material. Early the next day, Alison McGlone was seen leaving his house and walking home … in the same clothes.

Again, he and Court had split up during this window. But he may have also blatantly lied on TV. Pure celebrity gossip fodder, perhaps. But that doesn’t mean it’s false.

It all makes you wonder … will Ben and Courtney last?
