Desmond Hatchett, a 33-year-old Knoxville, Tenn., resident, appeared in court this week to ask the state for child-support help, Memphis’ WREG TV reported.

When you have 30 kids (yep, 3-0, or thirty), those bills do pile up.

That total is believed to be the record in Knox county, according to reports and have been born by 11 different women. His youngest are toddlers; his oldest is 14.

Hatchett reportedly asked the court to give him a break on his payments, claiming that he’s struggling to make ends meet with his minimum-wage job.

Currently, the state requires him to divide 50 percent of his earnings among the 11 women, and he does, but some receive as little as $ 1.49 a month.

How did Hatchett come to father so many children? He said he didn’t plan on it, but it just happened. Sure. He also revealed one dubious feat:

“I had four kids in the same year. Twice,” he told Volunteer TV in 2009, adding that he was “done” having kids (he had only 21 at the time).

Hatchett, who may want to consider the cost-benefit analysis of condoms, does not face any legal action because he has broken no laws.

Beyonce’s gown was dazzling at Monday night’s MET Costume Institute Gala, but her remark about wanting more children was even more noteworthy.

The new mom, decked out in a Givenchy couture sheer gown, stole the show at last night’s parade of amazing dresses and famous faces in NYC.

Asked by Nancy O’Dell on the red carpet if she’s thinking about more kids, Beyonce replied, “Definitely. I definitely want to have more,” she said.

“I don’t know how many. God knows I don’t know yet.”

Four months after giving birth to Blue Ivy, the 30-year-old said she hasn’t been working out to get her post-baby figure back, just working.

“I’ve been rehearsing, I have a show coming up and it’s my first show in a year,” she tells ET. Somehow we’re imagining she’ll nail it.

Among those joining her to walk the red staircase were Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Biel’s engagement ring, Kanye West, Sarah Jessica Parker, Smash star Katharine McPhee, Heidi Klum, Tim Tebow and dozens more.

There was also Tom Brady’s hair … no comment there.

Should Octomom Nadya Suleman have custody of her 14 kids transferred to local officials? She’s clearly in way over her head, and currently under investigation by DCFS over the horrendous living conditions in her La Habra, Calif., residence.

This has renewed debate over what is in the children’s best interest.

Octomom’s hairstylist, Stephanie, called the cops on her after laying eyes on the squalor – one working toilet, graffiti, malnourished and unclean bodies – first hand.

DCFS officials are deciding what to do with the children, though Orange County police said Wednesday that no criminal investigation against Nadya is pending.

Cops who conducted preliminary interviews at the home said “no crimes were noticed,” but that doesn’t mean she can’t – and shouldn’t – give up her brood.

Sad as it is, if kids are defecating outside, sleeping on floors and getting locked in rooms while Nadya Suleman does chores, would they be better off elsewhere?

No one wants a family to be broken up, but she’s not doing those kids – or taxpayers – any favors right now. Tell us: Should Octomom’s kids be taken away?

Deion Sanders’ contentious divorce took an ugly, surprising turn as he posted a photo on Twitter of his sons filing police reports against their mother, Pilar.

The photo below was tweeted by Sanders 14 minutes after he posted two messages on his Twitter timeline, asking fans to “pray for” himself and the kids.

He captioned the pic with the message, “filling out police reports now! Thank God for this platform to issue the Truth.” Or exploit children for sympathy:

Police were seen outside Sanders’ house Monday and an unidentified person was in handcuffs. Pilar was also admitted to a hospital for “a medical problem.”

Last month, Pilar Sanders filed a $ 200 million defamation lawsuit against Deion.

His estranged wife was responding to a tweet from Deion’s daughter from his previous marriage, Deiondra, which said Pilar was a “gold-digging [expletive].”

Deion later explained that the statement couldn’t be defamation because it’s true.

The NFL Hall of Famer filed for divorce last year and the story has been a celebrity gossip staple ever since … it’s so bad that Deion uses his kids against their mother to win public sympathy, says he’s the victim and might even be right.

Now that’s one way to make a memorable fashion statement and avoid becoming one of the celebrities who got slimed … what would the point be?

At least night’s Kids’ Choice Awards, Katy Perry showed off a few inches of her midriff in a neon green ensemble with matching peep toe heels …

… and a sports bra-like top dripping in slime:

The award show, of course, is known for its orange carpet and time-honored tradition of dumping industrial-size quantities of green slime on some “lucky” winners.

Perry was among the Kids’ Choice Award winners for her role in The Smurfs, but the only slime Katy wore was on her chest from the get-go, though.

Paired with her purple and blue ponytail and bubblegum lips, the pop superstar actually managed to make this absurd ensemble look cute. Not a small feat.

Lady Gaga may be cutting herself off from interviews, but in her last sit-down before that self-imposed time out, the star’s giving us plenty to talk about.

Showing her maternal side in a recent chat with Oprah Winfrey (airing tomorrow night on OWN), Gaga says she not only wants kids, but a lot of them.

A “soccer team” full of them, to quote the Mother Monster.

“Yeah, yeah, I do,” a (relatively) conservatively dressed Gaga, 25, told the talk show host, 58, when asked if she was serious about wanting a large family.

“I mean maybe I’m being a bit superfluous [about the soccer team], but I don’t want to have one [child], I want a few,” the Grammy nominee said.

Lady Gaga adds that she also wants a husband. Making a gesture to indicate a baby bump, the singer tells Winfrey, “I want to experience that.”

But Taylor Kinney is off the hook for now. Don’t expect her to settle down anytime soon. Gaga wants a family – just “not yet,” she says with a smile.

For now, she’ll have to settle for 20 million Little Monsters on Twitter.

His Super Bowl ad got Roland Martin all fired up, but the CNN commentator isn’t the only one making headlines for an incident involving David Beckham.

He may be the most famous soccer player in the world, but that didn’t stop a referee from giving the 36-year-old a red card at a children’s match in L.A.

Before his son Romeo took the field, “there was a penalty given” to a young player from another team, Beckham recalled on The Jonathan Ross Show.

“The kids are 7 years old and [the referee] sent the kid off. And I was like, ‘Come on, he’s 7 years old, referee! You can’t send him off,’” Becks said.

“And he looked at me and was like, ‘Yes, I can.’”

Beckham grew defiant and fought back, arguing: “You can’t – he’s 7 years old!’ And [the ref] came over and he gave me a red card,” the L.A. Galaxy star said.

“He told me to get out of the park. For real.”

The British superstar/underwear model “went to the other side of the gate” for the duration of the game, “and I came back when my son’s game was on.”

Beckham’s presence is usually welcomed at local sporting events: “The dads like seeing me there,” David admitted, “and I coach the kids at times.”

Brad Pitt is well aware that an Internet search of his name yields hundreds of millions of results – not all of them positive and many full-on ridiculous.

Heck, you can learn all about how he got Angelina Jolie pregnant, how he’s having an affair with Jennifer Aniston, and how he worried about Shiloh.

Most or all of which is untrue, of course … which brings us to this quote:

“On all the kids’ computers, we had our own names blocked,” the actor told Germany’s Bild in an interview. “They can’t Google their mom and dad.”

“I don’t want to make myself dependent on what other people think.”

Brad Pitt adds that he and Angelina Jolie aren’t exactly searching for themselves either, for good reason. “We don’t even notice all the noise,” he said.

The same could be said for his stance on aging. Despite being just two years away from the big 5-0, the Moneyball star says he enjoys getting older.

“I love becoming an older man. Your thoughts get clearer.”

Those thoughts may include a wedding in the works. The actor told The Hollywood Reporter – for real this time – that he would like to marry Angelina.

“It seems to mean more and more to our kids,” he added.

Just don’t expect them to find out via celeb gossip sites.

Michelle Duggar, who is pregnant with her 20th child, has made the understatement of all time, saying having that many kids probably isn’t for everyone.

With 18 of her 19 kids still at home, one on the way and two grandchildren, how does Michelle get any rest? “I am taking a power nap every day,” she says.

“And I’m eating a lot of protein and green vegetables and no caffeine, which is a new thing for me,” says the 45-year old star of 19 Kids and Counting.

Michelle and husband Jim Bob Duggar, 46, were believed to have stopped their baby making ways after daughter Josie’s life-threatening preeclampsia.

Not the case.

“I read up a lot on preeclampsia [while pregnant with Josie],” says Michelle, “It is a crazy, random thing. I have been getting counseled from a high-risk pregnancy doctor in Little Rock and taking good care of myself.”

The family’s frightening journey with Josie – born at only 25 weeks and weighing just over a pound in 2009 – was documented on 19 Kids and Counting.
