Kate Major Calls Cops on Michael Lohan (Yes, Again)

Kate Major has called the police on her former lover Michael Lohan, claiming he violated his restraining order, which he claims is totally untrue … again.

This is the April 12, 2012 edition of this oft-repeated story.

Law enforcement sources say crazy Kate called the Delray Beach, Fla., police, claiming Lohan had shown up to a salon she was at (a violation of the current protective order against him) and started furiously banging on the glass windows.

Police arrived, but by that point, MiLo had already split … apparently he did not get stuck in a tree trying to flee the cops this time. We think.

Michael’s side of the story is that Kate actually invited him to the salon in the first place, so that she could borrow money for him … allegedly.

Mike says Kate has been seriously involved with him recently and that the two have been secretly living together in spite of the restraining order.

Law enforcement sources say police took Kate Major’s statement when they showed up to the salon and have also spoke to MiLo as well.

The Florida State Attorney’s Office will decide if charges will be filed and ML makes yet another contribution to our celebrity mug shots album.

Michael Lohan Back in the Hospital With Chest Pains

Lindsay Lohan’s estranged and equally troubled father Michael Lohan was taken back to the hospital early Friday morning after experiencing chest pains.

MiLo was transferred from a rehab facility in Palm Beach, Fla., after doctors found blood clots and put him on medication to try and break them up.

Doctors feel they don’t need to perform surgery, but they want to keep in the hospital for a couple of days to make sure Mike’s medication works.

Fist-Pumpin' MiLo!

This is the second time in less than two months Lohan has been hospitalized for recurring heart problems. He collapsed at an AA meeting the last time.

He had surgery to repair a blockage back on December 5.

Lohan is due to be released from rehab on March 16. It’s unclear whether that will be pushed back due to this and previous hospital stays.

We wish him a fast recovery in any case.

Jesus Montero for Michael Pineda Trade Stuns Baseball: Who Won It?

The New York Yankees and Seattle Mariners shocked the baseball universe last night by completing a four-player trade centered around two of the most hyped young stars in baseball:

Jesus Montero – who hit over .300 and blasted four home runs for the Yankees in 18 regular season games last year – was swapped for 22-year pitching phenom Michael Pineda, who finished 2011 with a 3.74 ERA and 173 strikeouts in 171 innings.

Young baseball players

The deal provides Seattle with an upgraded offense, and the Yankees with a solid number-two starter behind C.C. Sabathia.

Considering the premium placed on young, cheap starting pitching, most experts agree the Yankees came out on top here. Remember the Hanley Ramirez-for-Josh Beckett deal between the Red Sox and Marlins, for example? Ramirez went on to become one of the top 10 hitters in baseball… yet Boston would do that swap all over again in a heartbeat.

Who do you think got the best of the Yankees/Mariners trade?

Michael Jackson Family on Conrad Murray Sentence: Not Long Enough!

Dr. Conrad Murray was sentenced to four years behind bars today, the longest possible prison term for involuntary manslaughter. Needless to say, Michael Jackson’s family is adamant that he deserves every day of that sentence, and then some.

His mother, Katherine Jackson, made that abundantly clear in recent weeks.

In Murray’s official Probation Report, Katherine lashes out at Murray for his documentary, in which he lays blame on Michael and denies any wrongdoing.

Katherine feels Murray’s four-year sentence is “insufficient.”

The report says, “During filming, he repeatedly stated that he did nothing wrong. Ms. Jackson feels this adds insult to injury, and shows he is clearly not remorseful.”

The Jackson family matriarch also says she’s “deeply insulted” that on the anniversary of Michael’s death, Murray arranged to be photographed at the cemetery.

Michael’s parents, siblings and children issued a joint statement begging Judge Michael Pastor to make Conrad Murray pay for his crime, which he did today.

At the same time, the family insists revenge is not their motive.

The statement reads, “There is no way to adequately describe the loss of our beloved father, son, brother and friend. We still look at each other in disbelief.”

“Is it really possible that he is gone? As Michael’s parents, we never imagined we would live to witness his passing. It is simply against the natural order of things.”

“We are not here to seek revenge. There is nothing you can do here today to bring Michael back. But we will keep the love in our hearts that Michael embodied throughout his life. His passion was for unifying the world through the gift of his artistry.”

“We respectfully request that you impose a sentence that reminds physicians that they can not sell their services to the highest bidder and cast aside their Hippocratic oath to do no harm. As we all know from this tragedy, doing so can have devastating results.”

“The Bible reminds us that men cannot do justice, they can only seek justice. That is all that we ask as a family. And that is all that we can ask for here.”

We ask you: Did Murray receive the right sentence?

Michael Jackson Deathbed Auction: Called Off

The literal deathbed where Michael Jackson passed away is no longer for sale.

Incredibly, the bed where Jackson died actually was for sale until recently.

Julien’s Auctions has removed the queen-sized headboard from its auction of items from 100 North Carolwood Drive in Los Angeles, Jackson’s last residence.

“This item is the only portion of the bed that had been listed for auction, and no part of the bed remains for sale,” company president Darren Julien said.

Michael Jackson Death Photo

The headboard seen in evidence photos during the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray (NOT the Michael Jackson autopsy photo seen above) was removed upon request.

Jackson’s estate was upset about the auction and asked that the bed be removed ASAP. It was listed after Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter.

Julien said that the mattress where MJ took his last breath “was never included in the auction and, in fact, is the property of The Estate of Michael Jackson.”

Only the headboard had been offered for sale. And it no longer is.

Awaiting sentencing Nov. 29, Murray wants to kill himself in jail.

Michael Lohan Charged With All Sorts of Crimes

THG’s favorite middle-aged miscreant, Michael Lohan, has officially been charged in connection with his two recent arrests involving his ex Kate Major.

If convicted, he faces up to four years behind bars.

Lohan was arrested twice in as many days last month, first for allegedly attacking Major in her apartment, then for allegedly violating a restraining order 24 hours later by trying to contact her by phone … and trying to flee the cops.

MiLo was hit with two misdemeanors for the first incident, in which he was arrested for domestic violence. He’s charged with that and a violation of a domestic injunction.

He faces two more misdemeanor counts for the second bust – resisting arrest without violence and violating a condition of pretrial release (after the first arrest).

If convicted on all charges, Michael faces a max of four years in jail. He’s actually spent time there before, years ago, for his involvement in an insider trading scandal.

Explains a lot about Lindsay Lohan, doesn’t it?

No word if Mike will be released on bond as he awaits trial, but we saw how well that worked out last time. If so, Kate Major might want to get a bodyguard.

Michael Lohan In More Trouble with the Law

Michael Lohan is dead set on proving he can out-criminalize his daughter.

Following multiple run-ins with the law over the last few days for Lindsay’s father, it has now come out that there’s an active warrant out for his arrest in Suffolk County, New York, stemming from ignored child support payments.

TMZ confirms that Lohan owes money to the mother of a child in Montana he allegedly father, and will be arrested on sight if police spot him in New York City, Nassau County or Suffolk County.

Seriously, this guy should just pose for a handful of mug shots at once. It would save everyone a lot of time.

Michael Lohan Denied Bail, Torn a New One By Judge

Michael Lohan’s hilarious arrest the other night earned him a 6-5 career lead over daughter Lindsay in number of entries in our celebrity mug shots gallery.

It also got him his ass handed to him by a judge.

Jailed twice in the past week, MiLo appeared in court Friday, making excuses about why he violated a restraining order barring him from contacting his ex.

The judge was far from moved, given that Lohan took all of a few hours to break the rules the last time he was out on bail, so he was denied it this time.

Michael Lohan Booking Photo

In a wheelchair after spraining his foot trying to flee the cops by jumping off a balcony (seriously), and handcuffed, Mike had his lawyer plead his case.

Following testimony from ex-GF Kate Major about his incessant calling, harassment and alleged abuse of her, Lohan said he needed to be free because:

  1. Dr. Drew is expecting him at some TV shoot
  2. Lindsay Lohan’s next court hearing is coming up on Wednesday
  3. He’s got a celebrity boxing match with Tareq Salahi coming up

Stunningly, the judge wasn’t moved and MiLo will be cooling his ass in a cell until further notice. He faces domestic violence charges and much more.

Dr. Conrad Murray Defense Witness Finally Puts it Out There: Michael Jackson Killed Himself!

The late Michael Jackson likely helped himself to extra doses of potent drugs while Dr. Conrad Murray’s back was turned and accidentally took his own life.

That’s according to the defense’s final witness, who finally came out and said, under oath, the theory that Murray’s defense has been floating for months.

Murray’s lawyers long have asserted that Jackson caused his own death, even as the likelihood of such an event has been discredited by the prosecution.

Dr. Conrad Murray Pic

Still, White told the jury, in Jackson’s last minutes of consciousness, the insomniac took several pills of the sedative lorezepan, then injected the Propofol.

“You think it was a self-injection of propofol between 11:30 and 12?” defense attorney J. Michael Flanagan asked. “In my opinion, yes,” White responded.

White, like the prosecution’s star witness, Dr. Steven Shafer, is an anesthesiologist and Propofol expert. The prosecution will cross-examine him next week.

After that, it’s up to the jury to determine if there is reasonable doubt to acquit Murray of involuntary manslaughter, or if the prosecution made its case.

It goes without saying that Jackson’s family feels they have.

Family members have attended trial every day, wasting little time praising the D.A. – or in this case, denying Michael was responsible for his own death.

His sister La Toya Jackson Tweeted, after a particularly tense Friday in courty: “MICHAEL DID NOT KILL HIMSELF!!! HE WOULD NEVER DO THAT!!!!”

The implication isn’t that he tried to, but point taken.

There’s also the question of whether that would absolve Murray of guilt even if it did occur. The state contends it would not, and that he’s guilty anyway.

Prosecution witnesses say Murray not only gave too much Propofol, he also failed to properly monitor MJ, botched CPR and waited too long to call 911.

That, along with inconsistencies in Murray’s own timeline of events, plus startling images like the Michael Jackson autopsy photo, could be his undoing.

He faces up to four years in prison if convicted.
