Wow. Britney Spears showed off her engagement ring in a new Facebook photo today, but it’s not the rock we’re impressed by. The bride-to-be herself looks cute as ever!
Oh yeah, and that diamond ring’s alright too.
“I can’t stop looking at it!!” she wrote along with a photo of herself displaying the bauble inside either a nail salon … or her house, for all we know. She can afford it!
Here’s the beaming future Mrs. Jason Trawick:
Jason definitely did Brit proud when he popped the question with the nearly four-carat round Neil Lane diamond and pave band ring on his 40th birthday last month.
No wedding date has yet been set, and the lovebirds aren’t rushing things. Nor are they planning a decadent affair, opting instead for a low-key wedding.
After all she’s been through, probably a smart move.

As one Kardashian marriage reportedly falls apart, might another be on the way?
Insiders tell Life & Style that Scott Disick took a friend to Classics Jewelry in New York City’s Diamond District last month and purchased “a 1.5-carat princess-cut-diamond ring,” presumably for bride-to-be Kourtney Kardashian.
We’ve all been here before, of course.
On the season finale of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, Scott planned to propose but refrained after Kourtney shot down the idea by asking: “If things are so good now… why would we want to change that?”
But the relationship is better than ever, a pal says, making this the ideal time to pop the question.
“Right now, they’re so in love and so happy with each other and their family that there’s no reason for them not to get married. Kourtney has also really come around to the idea of marriage.”
And, hey, season two of Kourtney & Kim Take New York needs a finale!

Note to Ashton Kutcher: if you did not cheat on Demi Moore with Sara Leal, come out and say it. Don’t post some mysterious, random video.
Amidst infidelity rumors and divorce chatter, the actor has posted a message on obscure social network Chime.In that begins with: “I just wanted to open up a little dialogue on the state of honesty. The state of truth. The status of truth as it pertains to literature and media.”
Kutcher goes on to blab about how the Internet has led to the onslaught of irresponsible journalism and rumor mongering, preaching:
“We are our own editors, we are our own publishers and we are our own printers. Therefore, people can bastardize the truth in any way, shape or form that they want and spread that around the world. A lie can travel halfway around the world before the truth can leave someone’s lips.”
Then perhaps you ought to tell us the truth, idiot, instead of standing on a soapbox and acting above it all.

If we’ve learned anything over the years, it’s that Britney Spears occasionally loves wearing huge, diamond jewelery on her left ring finger.
But that doesn’t mean she’s engaged people! Geez!
The singer fueled the semi-annual Jason Trawick engagement rumors Friday when she stepped out in London with a HUGE ROCK! Peep it:
Spears flaunts a giant ring and gets the rumor mill buzzing at BBC Radio 1.
Look at that BLING! Although the two denied reports that Jason Trawick was planning to propose to the pop queen (again), you have to wonder if he will.
It’s been a long, serious relationship at this stage, and if anyone’s familiar with her very complicated past and present life situation, it’s her former agent.
Not yet, though. Upon closer inspection, while the ring is clearly mammoth and no doubt expensive as heck, it’s not an engagement ring. We don’t think. Look:
Britney Spears wouldn’t rock a yellow engagement ring, right?

You’ve seen the wedding invitation. You’ve checked out the misleading tabloid covers. All that remains is for Kim Kardashian to actually marry Kris Humphries, right?
Wrong. First, we must judge the rock on her finger….
The engagement ring presented to Kim in May – fewer than three months prior to her wedding date – is 20.5 carats. It’s rectangular in shape. And it was likely purchased by E!.
